Membership Nomination and Selection Process

The North Carolina Executive Roundtable is a professional association of senior-level executives.  Membership is by invitation only.  Candidates for membership must be sponsored by a current member in good standing and must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

  • Possess C-level experience or other significant senior-level executive leadership experience.
  • Are actively engaged in business or actively seeking opportunities.
  • Have agreed to the requirements for membership outlined in the NCER Bylaws.
  • Have provided current profile information (i.e. name, contact information, photo, and summary of business experience) required for identification and communication.

Your sponsor will submit a written nomination for membership (including a candidate profile) to the NCER Membership Committee for consideration at least one week prior to the expected Membership Committee vote on proposed new members. The sponsor must also attend and support the candidate at the Membership Committee meeting when your membership proposal is considered.

Your sponsor will notify you of the committee’s decision and if accepted, you will also receive a letter of acceptance from NCER with additional information.  Remittance of initiation fees ($125) and annual dues ($90) are expected upon acceptance.
